LOVE AND REGGAE; LAUNCHING AN ALBUM IN STYLE

 

Dumis9ne I, a reggae artist from Mzuzu is launching his new 13 track album titled “Love and Reggae” on 6th November at Umunthu Camp in Mzuzu.

 

Dumis9ne said the Love and Reggae album is dubbed with the theme of Love, and this will be his second album since releasing his first album “Light Path” in 2018.

 

“Generally the album talks about Love, its appreciating how beautiful Mother Nature is and women themselves. It also talks of God’s love, as He is the ultimate giver of Love.” Dumi explains.

 

The reggae star said the show has been designed to give the best music experience to the fans who will be in attendance, with a variety of supporting artists to spice up the event including Wakisa James, Ancient Mirror, Merchah, 16 bazz, Warner Chandie, the Fingerprint Band and many others.

 

He went on to explain that the plan is to expose people to good urban music and grow internationally as a brand.

 

“This show is the start of what Dumis9ne I as a brand plans of accomplishing, my aspiration is to expose this talent to the world and People should expect nothing but; pure roots reggae, some jazz, some traditional urban music, underground rap music, trap local and some good degree of dancehall. I want people to be exposed to some beautiful music.”

 

Dumis9ne I, formerly known as Vanting, started with HipHop before finding his place in Reggae music. His style of music compares with Evision Matafale, VIC Marley, Bob Marley, Jah9, Chronix, Vaughn Benjamin (voice of akea beka and Midnight) and Damian Marley.
