Born Khumbo kafwafwa and popularly known as Sean Morgan is one of the fast rising Reggae and Dancehall artist who is very good in conscious and positive music which terms a great altitude impact to his listeners.
Despite being one of the promising artist in Malawi Sean Morgan is still pursuing with his music studies as he is doing bachelors in musicology at the Malawi University of science and Technology (MUST)…..
He narrates his musical journey wasn’t easy but his experience bared fruits at a tender age when he joined a choir at his church which made him develop interest and gain more skills in the music yet still more his father played a big role by exposing him to Reggae music hence his father is one big fan of Reggae and most notably he recommends Bob Marley and Morgan Heritage inspired him since then till up to date.
His music is centralized on.universal love since all other things such as love and peace they will all come if people love one another and this was portrayed in one of his songs called ENVY as it talks of Africa as one entity despite having boundaries…..he further announced pon working on Extended playlist (EP) which Will be delivered to his mass audience real soon.
Sean Morgan was last year nominated as the best dancehall act of 2020 at Urban Music people Awards(UMP) which comforts his successful journey after being featured in a Riddim from Jamaica earlier this year called ” Real pree Riddim” produced by the Rockaz Elements and another Riddim.from Zimbabwe called ” five aside Riddim” and that opened doors to his music for world wide audience, he urges all artists to be committed in there respective fields and urge the authorities to pump in more helpful ideas and strategies to see Malawian music growing beyond its margin.
